Using DonWorks Pantry

DonWorks Pantry is software for personal pantry, grocery, meal-planning, recipe, and household organization. By using the app, you agree to use it lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with the app, its services, or other users.

Your data and responsibility

DonWorks Pantry is local-first, and important app data may exist only on your device. You are responsible for maintaining any backups or exports you consider necessary and for reviewing information before relying on it. Clearing app storage, uninstalling the app, device loss, device failure, or operating-system behavior may result in loss of local data.

Food, nutrition, and household information

Pantry quantities, expiry information, recipe information, forecasts, nutrition information, reminders, and similar outputs are organizational aids. They may be incomplete, approximate, or affected by information entered by the user or supplied by third-party data sources. Users remain responsible for food-safety decisions, dietary decisions, purchases, and other real-world actions.

Third-party services

Some optional features rely on third-party services or device capabilities, including Firebase infrastructure, speech recognition, barcode product-information providers, Google Play, and public static hosting. Availability and behavior of those services may change independently of DonWorks Studio and may be subject to separate provider terms and policies.

App availability and changes

DonWorks Studio may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, compatibility, product development, legal requirements, or third-party service changes. Reasonable efforts may be made to communicate material changes, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DonWorks Pantry is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for every purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DonWorks Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of or inability to use DonWorks Pantry, including loss of local data, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Privacy

Use of DonWorks Pantry is also subject to the DonWorks Pantry Privacy Policy, which explains the app's current data practices.

Changes to these terms

These Terms of Use may be updated as DonWorks Pantry evolves. The current version will be published at this web address. Continued use after an updated version becomes applicable may be subject to the updated terms.
