DonWorks Pantry data deletion

Instructions for deleting local Pantry data and requesting deletion of data associated with DonWorks Pantry.

Ordinary local use

DonWorks Pantry does not require an account for ordinary local use. Most pantry, grocery, meal, recipe, preference, receipt, and related app data is stored locally on the user's device and is not uploaded to DonWorks Studio during normal local use.

Delete data stored on your device

You can remove local DonWorks Pantry data in any of these ways:

Delete individual items or records using controls provided in the app.
Use any available reset or clear-data option provided by the app.
On Android, open Settings > Apps > DonWorks Pantry > Storage and clear the app's storage/data.
Uninstall DonWorks Pantry from the device.

Android or device-backup settings may separately retain or restore app data, so the exact result can depend on the device's configured backup behavior.

Analytics and service-provider data

The production release uses Firebase Analytics for aggregate usage measurement. Firebase may maintain app-instance, installation, event, and technical records according to configured retention settings and Google's operational, security, and backup processes. DonWorks Pantry does not create a Firebase Authentication account merely because a user opens the app for ordinary local use.

Request deletion assistance

To request deletion assistance for data under DonWorks Studio's control, email donworksstudio@gmail.com with the subject DonWorks Pantry data deletion request.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, authentication tokens, or other unnecessary sensitive information. If additional information is needed to identify data associated with the request, DonWorks Studio will reply with instructions.

What may be retained

Limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal, regulatory, or request-tracking purposes. Any such information is retained only for as long as needed for those purposes. Third-party service providers may also retain information according to their own retention policies.
