Account and data deletion

The initial DonWorks Pantry release is designed to store pantry data locally on the device rather than in a DonWorks cloud account.

Initial local data

Uninstalling the app ordinarily removes its app-local data. Android or device backup settings may separately retain or restore app data, so the exact result can depend on the device's configured backup behavior.

Future accounts or cloud features

Account and cloud features that store user account or Pantry data are not currently enabled. Before any such capability is enabled for users, DonWorks Pantry will provide an authenticated deletion process for the applicable account or cloud data. This page will be updated with reviewed instructions, including any applicable retention or backup handling, before those capabilities are enabled.
