Initial-release design

DonWorks Pantry's initial public release is designed as a local-first, local-only pantry experience. Personal pantry information for that release is stored on the user's device.

Public announcements

When the announcement feature is configured, the app may fetch public announcement files from the static DonWorks site. Those files contain product news, notices, and release updates rather than private pantry content.

Future features

Optional online or account-based features may be introduced later. Any associated data practices and choices will require updated disclosures before those features are enabled.
